Second Office After Seoul
"Discovering Global Investment Opportunities"
The real estate entrusted asset manager of the National Pension Service, Tishman Speyer, has opened a liaison office in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, the National Pension Service announced on the 24th.

Kim Tae-hyun, the director of the National Pension Service, attended the opening ceremony of the Tishman Speyer Jeonju liaison office held in Manseong-dong, Jeonju on the same day. Rob Speyer, CEO of Tishman Speyer, and Fred Waldeck, head of Global Capital Markets, also attended.
Tishman Speyer is a global real estate investment, development, and management company with 1,200 experts managing assets totaling $65 billion. As of the end of 2024, it has bases in 37 major cities across 11 countries. Since 2011, it has been entrusted with managing the National Pension Service’s real estate investment assets.
This office opening is the second in South Korea after Seoul. The Tishman Speyer Jeonju liaison office will support the investment management of the National Pension Fund by discovering domestic and international real estate investment opportunities, providing capital market analysis, and advisory services through localized services.
Rob Speyer, CEO, said, “It is an honor to open the Jeonju office and contribute to discovering global investment opportunities together with the National Pension Service and to the stable management of the fund. I hope to also contribute to realizing Jeollabuk-do’s vision as a financial hub and sustainable growth.”
Director Kim said, “At the opening ceremony of the National Pension Service San Francisco office last September, we promised to open an office in Jeonju following Seoul to strengthen the partnership with the corporation, and I am pleased that this has been fulfilled. Based on the trust built over the past 14 years, I hope to cooperate more closely with the fund and contribute to the development of the local community.”
Meanwhile, among global custodian banks and asset management companies that have established bases in Jeonju to collaborate with the National Pension Service are six companies: State Street Bank (SSBT), BNY Mellon Bank, Franklin Templeton, BNY Mellon Asset Management Group, Blackstone, and Heinz.
