GS Retail and BGF Retail Provide Relief Supplies
Including Bottled Water and Ramen for Wildfire Victims
Emergency Support Sent to Sancheong-gun and Uiseong-gun
The convenience store industry has rolled up its sleeves to help disaster victims in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, and Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, which suffered great damage from large wildfires.

According to the related industry on the 24th, GS Retail, which operates the convenience store GS25, provided more than 5,000 relief items consisting of bottled water, pies, cup noodles, canned coffee, and more for the residents of Sancheong-gun and Uiseong-gun. The company plans to closely monitor the damage situation and respond promptly if additional support is needed.

BGF Retail, which operates the convenience store CU, also activated the national disaster emergency relief activity 'BGF Bridge' and delivered relief supplies to evacuation shelters for disaster victims, including Uiseong Gymnasium and Sanencheong Welfare Center, through BGF Logis Daegu and Jinju centers.
The delivered relief supplies include a total of 13 types and more than 5,000 items such as bottled water, ramen, pies, chocolate bars, and wet wipes, which will be supplied to disaster victims and firefighting personnel. They are continuously monitoring the wildfire damage situation and considering additional support.
Choi Min-geon, ESG Team Manager at BGF Retail, stated, "We will maintain a 24-hour hotline with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and others, and through continuous monitoring, we will make every effort to respond quickly if additional support is needed."
