Strengthening Information Features of the Business-Exclusive Platform
Operation of KakaoTalk Channel 'Business Helper 365', and More
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) is significantly expanding administrative and financial support to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome crises amid increasing internal and external uncertainties. Through these efforts, the city aims to strengthen support for business growth and further solidify its position as a business-friendly city.

Since January this year, Suncheon City has been operating the online platform 'Business Support Portal,' the first of its kind in Jeollanam-do, providing services such as support program guidance, issue submission, and business promotion.

In addition to benefits exclusive to Suncheon City, the portal consolidates information and data scattered across related organizations such as central government departments and Jeollanam-do, thereby enhancing accessibility and convenience.
Previously, local businesses had to search for various pieces of information provided separately by each institution, which was inconvenient. With the enhancement of the Business Support Portal, it is expected that companies will be able to easily find all relevant business information and materials in one place.

To provide prompt solutions to business challenges and customized policy information, the city has launched and is operating the new KakaoTalk channel 'Business Helper 365' since March.
Local SMEs can use this channel to receive real-time, tailored business policy information and updates on ongoing support programs, regardless of time and place. They can also conveniently submit regulatory issues or management difficulties that require improvement at any time, 365 days a year. To access support through this channel, businesses simply need to search for 'Business Helper 365' on KakaoTalk and add it as a channel friend.
▲ Operation of 'Business Field Communication Day'
To promptly address business challenges and strengthen on-site, hands-on support, the city will regularly operate the "Business Field Communication Day."
The mayor, relevant officials, and related organizations will jointly visit businesses to listen to their management difficulties and seek solutions together.
As the first step, the Mayor of Suncheon held an on-site meeting on customs policy and business crisis response on the 17th, listened to voices from the field, and declared, "The economy of Suncheon thrives when our businesses thrive," pledging to be "a reliable partner for business growth."
From April, the city plans to conduct regular on-site visits and meetings once a month to listen to business challenges, swiftly devise solutions, and move forward as a city that grows together with its businesses.
In addition, the city will expand tailored financial support so that local SMEs can experience tangible benefits. It is providing Jeollanam-do's largest SME interest subsidy and, for the first time in the province, supporting guarantee fees for SME interest support projects. To help export companies overcome crises, the city is also considering additional programs such as supporting port shipping costs for exporting businesses, aiming to provide comprehensive support.
A city official stated, "We will further expand communication with businesses so that no company misses out on support programs due to lack of information," and added, "Since SMEs are the core of the local economy, we will continue to develop various support policies to broaden the foundation for business growth and firmly establish Suncheon as a business-friendly city."
