Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, will attend the 39th Annual General Meeting of the Asia Oceania Stock Exchanges Federation (AOSEF) held in Taiwan on the 25th to strengthen partnerships among Asian exchanges.
AOSEF is an organization established in 1982 to promote cooperation and information exchange among stock exchanges in the Asia region. Currently, 17 exchanges from 13 countries in Asia, including Korea, Japan, and China, participate as members.

At this general meeting, representatives from the 17 member exchanges will discuss recent trends such as increased stock market volatility due to global trade disputes, as well as the role of capital markets and cooperation measures among exchanges to foster next-generation industries leading Asia's economic development, such as AI (artificial intelligence) semiconductors.
Subsequently, on the 27th, Chairman Jung plans to meet with Guihua Zhou, Chairman of the Beijing Stock Exchange, one of China's major exchanges, to exchange views on revitalizing the advanced technology stock market and enhancing the value of listed companies, and to strengthen partnerships with the Greater China capital markets.
The Korea Exchange stated, "We will continue to solidify strategic partnerships with overseas exchanges and strengthen our status as a leading exchange in the Asia-Pacific region."
