The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam delivered 4.3 million won in proceeds from a charity bazaar to the Hanmaeum Free Meal Center (Catholic Women's Center) in Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon Special City, on the 24th and participated in volunteer meal service activities.
This donation was raised through the "Beautiful Day" bazaar held on February 18. Prior to the regular general meeting of the Chamber, items donated by its members were sold in collaboration with Beautiful Store to generate the funds.
On this day, Chairman Choi Jaeho and executives and staff of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the event and provided meal service to citizens using the Hanmaeum Free Meal Center.
Chairman Choi Jaeho stated, "I hope that the donations, prepared with the sincerity of businesspeople, will offer comfort and support to our neighbors in need in the region," and emphasized, "Even in difficult economic times, we will continue to lead social contribution activities to create a warm and beautiful local community."
Meanwhile, in addition to this activity, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry is continuously carrying out social contribution initiatives such as the "Good Prepayment" campaign and the purchase of local gift certificates to help revitalize the local economy.
