Furthermore, Mosoo Seoul added, "If you have been asked for a reservation deposit by any method other than Catch Table, please be aware that it is unrelated to Mosoo," and expressed regret, saying, "We deeply regret that our beloved customers have been affected and sincerely hope no further damage occurs."

Some internet community users reacted, saying, "The culprit can just hide, but for the restaurant, it's a matter of trust with customers, so I hope it gets resolved well," "How popular must the restaurant be for scams targeting reservation deposits to occur?" and "Since the meal prices are quite high, it seems they targeted that."

Earlier, on the 22nd of this month, Chef An Seong-jae's restaurant 'Mosoo Seoul' reopened near the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Along with the reopening announcement, the reservation window opened on the 8th and was fully booked within a day. All reservations for three months until the end of June have been filled. There are about 9,000 people on the waiting list who have applied for 'vacancy notifications' for each date until June. This restaurant is a fine dining establishment awarded three Michelin stars in 2023, offering only dinner course omakase priced at 420,000 KRW per person. Reservations are available for children aged 8 and above, but there is no separate children's menu, so they must order the same course as adults. Amid fierce reservation competition, celebrities including actress Son Ye-jin and influencers have posted reviews of their visits to Mosoo on SNS, generating buzz.
