The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 24th that it has appointed Hong Soon-beom, former Deputy Auditor of the Board of Audit and Inspection, as its new Vice President. Vice President Hong Soon-beom held an inauguration ceremony at the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation headquarters located in Daegu Innovation City and officially began his duties.
Vice President Hong graduated from Seoul Inchang High School and Yonsei University with a degree in law. He served in public office at the Board of Audit and Inspection for 27 years, worked as an administrative officer at the Presidential Office, and held positions such as a senior advisor at the Korea Testing Laboratory and a non-executive director at the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology.
In his inaugural speech, Vice President Hong stated, “In the rapidly changing global economic environment and amid the era’s demands such as digital transformation and carbon neutrality, the creative role and proactive response of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation are more important than ever.” He added, “During my term, I will communicate with employees and strive to create an innovative and efficient organizational culture so that the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation can lead the development of the industrial ecosystem.”
