Gyeonggi-do Recruiting Startups for 'Large Corporation Linked Growth Support Project' Participation

Gyeonggi Province is recruiting startups to participate in the 'Large Corporation-Linked Growth Support Project.'


The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced on the 24th that it will recruit startups established within the last 7 years by the 10th of next month to participate in the 'Private-led Open Innovation Support Project,' which helps startups grow in connection with large corporations.


This project involves large corporations participating in the incubation process of startups with innovative technologies, assisting with technology verification, infrastructure support, and market expansion.


Gyeonggi Province will provide commercialization funds of up to 30 million KRW for startups for research and development, prototype production, intellectual property applications, and more.

The large corporations participating in this project include 21 companies such as Hyundai Construction, Kakao Mobility, KB Kookmin Card, HD Hyundai Samho, KT, Hoban Construction, Kolon Benit, DB Group, SK Ecoplant, and Amorepacific.


Gyeonggi Province will select 40 startups through document evaluation and one-on-one matching days.


Startups wishing to participate can apply through the Open Innovation website of the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation by the 10th of next month.


A Gyeonggi Province official stated, "Cooperation with large corporations is essential for the growth of startups with innovative technologies," adding, "We hope this project will help startups take a step forward."
