Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 24th that the 7th Dongducheon City President's Cup Badminton Tournament was successfully held from the 22nd to the 23rd.

This tournament was hosted by the Dongducheon City Badminton Association (President Yoon Jong-oh) and sponsored by Dongducheon City and the Dongducheon City Council, bringing together badminton enthusiasts and citizens from the local area.
About 700 amateur players from Dongducheon City and nearby regions participated in the tournament, engaging in intense matches. Over the two-day event, the participants showcased the skills they had honed, while local residents gathered to share the spirit of sportsmanship.
As a result of the tournament, the 1st place was awarded to the ‘Idam Club’, 2nd place to the ‘Dongducheon Club’, and 3rd place to the ‘Saengyeon Club’.
Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon City stated, “Badminton is a sport that requires not only physical ability but also mental strength. Through this tournament, we will support Dongducheon citizens to lead healthy and vibrant lives, and we will continue to strengthen community bonds through various sports activities.”
