Hwaseong-si to Recruit Eligible Participants for Housing Renovation Project for Disabled by Next Month 11

Up to 3.8 Million KRW Support for 12 Households

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will recruit candidates for the '2025 Disabled Housing Renovation Project' to improve the living environment of low-income disabled households from the 31st of this month until the 11th of next month.

The support target is registered disabled persons residing in Hwaseong City, living in owner-occupied or rental housing with household income below the average monthly income per household of urban workers in the previous year. Those who have received the same or similar housing renovation support from the national or local governments within the past three years are excluded from eligibility.


The support scale is for 12 households, with up to 3.8 million KRW provided per household. Major support items include ▲installation of entrance ramps ▲bathroom renovation ▲installation of auxiliary handrails ▲lowering of door thresholds, and other convenience facilities and safety device installations and repairs within the home.


Applicants can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in charge of their address. The city plans to select candidates by assessing eligibility next month.
