The on-site health consultation service, conducted by Sutaek Health Center every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 3 PM to 5 PM at the traditional market, includes blood sugar and cholesterol measurements, as well as guidance on exercise methods applicable for daily health management and nutrition-related education.
Additionally, at the "On-Gajok Smart Healthcare Zone" located in the office of the Traditional Market Merchants Association, Guri citizens can check their own health status, including blood pressure, body composition, height, weight, stress, and vascular condition, and continuously monitor changes in their health status through a smartphone app.
A merchant who used the on-site health consultation service said, "I had neglected my health management due to a busy daily life, but they came directly to check my blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels and provided guidance on exercise and diet management, which was a great help."
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, "I hope the on-site health consultation service will be a good opportunity for Guri citizens to take care of their health, and we will continue to expand health management support projects."
Guri City plans to continue operating health promotion programs for various groups and support citizens to manage their health more easily.
