World Vision and IBK Securities Sign MOU for Climate Change Response Project

IBK Investment & Securities is joining hands with World Vision to address the climate crisis from an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) perspective.


On the 24th, it was announced that World Vision and IBK Investment & Securities signed a "Climate Change Response Project Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)" on the 21st at World Vision headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

The signing ceremony was attended by World Vision Chairman Jo Myung-hwan and IBK Investment & Securities CEO Seo Jeong-hak, along with other representatives from both sides.


World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, continues various projects through collaboration with specialized partner organizations to support climate-vulnerable groups such as children, low-income families, and marginalized communities.


IBK Investment & Securities plans to cooperate with World Vision to promote domestic climate change response projects, produce related promotional materials, and conduct joint marketing efforts to contribute to the sustainable development of the environment and society.


World Vision Chairman Jo Myung-hwan expressed, "We thank IBK Investment & Securities for collaborating on projects to support climate-vulnerable groups suffering from the climate crisis. We hope this agreement will serve as a foundation for building a strong relationship and achieving sustainable cooperation going forward."


IBK Investment & Securities CEO Seo Jeong-hak emphasized, "Based on our strategic goal of becoming a financial investment company that fosters sustainable future innovation growth, we will strengthen ESG management. We will continue to collaborate with World Vision on various eco-friendly projects and social contribution activities."
