Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) has decided to support local affiliated esports teams to strengthen the competitiveness of Incheon esports companies and establish a game industry ecosystem in the Incheon area, and is recruiting participating companies until the 1st of next month.
The support targets are Incheon companies that own and operate esports teams, and the teams must consist of at least one professional esports team. Incheon TP plans to select four companies and provide up to 60 million KRW (15 million KRW per company) to cover the costs necessary for team operation and activities.
Detailed information such as application methods can be found on the Incheon TP website. A representative from Incheon TP said, "We expect this support project to help expand the base of the esports industry and build an ecosystem in the Incheon area," adding, "We hope for the active interest of Incheon esports companies."
