[Photo] "Even a Little More" Firefighters Battling the Sancheong Wildfire in the Dark

The wildfire that broke out at 3:26 p.m. on the 21st in a forested area of Sicheon-myeon, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, has continued for three days.

Due to strong winds and dry weather at the site, the Sancheong wildfire has repeatedly been extinguished and reignited. As of 9 p.m. on the 23rd, 71% of the fire had been contained.

As night fell, 32 firefighting helicopters withdrew, but 2,452 personnel and 244 firefighting vehicles continued nighttime operations throughout the mountain.
