On the 24th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience light rain in the morning, followed by strong winds and heavy fine dust spreading in the afternoon. Although daytime temperatures will rise to a mild 23 degrees Celsius, caution is advised for respiratory health and facility safety during outdoor activities due to the dusty winds.

According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, around 1mm of rain is expected from early morning to noon, mainly along the southern coast of Gwangju and Jeonnam, with some inland areas of Jeonnam also seeing raindrops. Morning lows will range from 8 to 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 17 and 23 degrees, remaining mild, but the temperature difference between day and night will exceed 15 degrees.

By region, morning lows will be 11 degrees in Gwangju, Mokpo, and Yeosu; 9 degrees in Naju, Jangseong, and Damyang; and 8 degrees in Suncheon, Boseong, and Gurye. Daytime highs will reach 23 degrees in Gwangju, Naju, Damyang, and Jangseong; 22 degrees in Suncheon, Gurye, and Boseong; and 18 degrees in Mokpo and Yeosu.

Waves in the West and South Sea coastal areas will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in the morning and rise to 'very bad' in the afternoon. Ultrafine dust is also forecasted to be at 'bad' levels.

An official from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration stated, "Strong winds in the afternoon will worsen fine dust levels and may cause damage to facilities such as signboards and vinyl greenhouses. Please pay attention to respiratory protection when going out and be cautious regarding pedestrian and traffic safety."
