The target participants are youth aged 19 to 39 who have started or plan to start a business in the cafe or dessert sector in Buk-gu. Applications can be submitted individually or as a team, and recruitment is divided into two categories: ‘Local General’, which utilizes local ingredients and culture, and ‘Buk-gu Specialization’, which utilizes Buk-gu’s city brand and characters (Bukku & Bubu).

The selection process evaluates entrepreneurial motivation, originality of ideas, and suitability for the project’s objectives, with additional points given for ideas that utilize Buk-gu content. Those finally selected will be provided with a practice space, ingredient costs, one-on-one consulting with experts, opportunities to hold tasting events, and chances to sell prototypes for four months. Even after the project ends, continuous follow-up support will be provided through connections with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, including consultations on startup funding loans.

Moon In, the head of Buk-gu Office, stated, “I hope that young entrepreneurs will use this project as an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial competitiveness that reflects the unique characteristics of the region,” and added, “We will continue to actively support the realization of young people’s dreams.”

Those wishing to participate can apply through the Buk-gu Youth Center website. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Youth Future Policy Division at Buk-gu Office or the Buk-gu Youth Center.
