On the 23rd, CJ CheilJedang announced that it will operate the 'Global Top-Tier Academic Partnership,' a network program for global talent visits. The company aims to enhance understanding of CJ's global business, expand partnerships, and proactively secure talent with a deep understanding of local culture and markets to strengthen business competitiveness.

In this regard, on the 18th and 20th, a total of 60 students from the MBA programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Columbia University visited CJ CheilJedang's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.

CJ CheilJedang explained the 'Global CJ Vision' and introduced its business portfolio, brands, and products through global recruitment officers. At this event, Lee Sun-ho, head of the Food Growth Promotion Office and eldest son of CJ Chairman Lee Jae-hyun, gave a welcoming speech. During the session, participants sampled CJ CheilJedang snack products such as Crispy Chips, Gim Snacks, and Matbam, and toured employee rest areas like the 'Connect Lounge,' the cooking studio 'CJ The Kitchen,' CJ The Market, Olive Young stores, and the cafeteria.

An American participant said, "I have a strong interest in Korean culture and K-food, so I thought this was a great opportunity to participate," adding, "Through this opportunity, I realized that CJ CheilJedang is not just a food company but a global leading company setting new standards in taste and wellness."

CJ CheilJedang has been striving to secure talent and expand networks that will play a crucial role in overseas business expansion. Through the 'Global Top-Tier Academic Partnership' program, a total of 110 MBA students from Cornell University, Bryant University, and the University of Texas visited Korea in January and earlier this month. In the first half of this year, MBA students from Wharton School, INSEAD, and Carnegie Mellon University are scheduled to visit.

Last year, CJ CheilJedang conducted Korea's first recruitment-linked internship program called 'CJ Global Internship' for foreigners currently enrolled in or graduated from prestigious overseas universities, attracting over 5,000 applicants of various nationalities. This internship program will continue to operate in the second half of this year.
