Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, urged the Constitutional Court on the 23rd to make a swift ruling regarding the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol. The Democratic Party proposed a response strategy including the installation of a tent party office and the promotion of a resolution through the National Assembly's plenary committee.

At a press conference held at the National Assembly on the same day, Floor Leader Park stated, "As the Constitutional Court's ruling is delayed, public anxiety and social confusion are intensifying, and economic damage is increasing. It is time for the Constitutional Court to fulfill its duty to protect the constitutional order and democracy by making a firm decision. We urge an immediate impeachment decision, even on the 25th."

Regarding the response, he said, "We will promote a resolution urging a swift ruling and convene a plenary committee to handle it," adding, "The Democratic Party will install and operate a tent party office in Gwanghwamun starting tomorrow."

Regarding the impeachment of Choi Sang-mok, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, he reaffirmed the intention to proceed. Floor Leader Park described Choi's impeachment as "a decision to protect the constitutional order," and argued, "Establishing the principle that anyone who violates the constitutional order will be punished is the way to restore the constitution that was broken by the December 3 internal conflict."

He stated that President Yoon declared martial law because "as the disclosure of the golden phone, the key evidence in the Myeongtaegyun Gate, was imminent, Yoon Seok-yeol declared martial law," and added, "The essence of martial law is a ‘personal coup’ to hide the ugly crimes of the Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Geon-hee couple, namely illegal and corrupt acts such as public opinion manipulation, election fraud, stock price manipulation, and state affairs mismanagement."
