Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in the Export Opportunity Voucher Project until April 4.
The Gyeonggi Export Opportunity Voucher Project is a program that provides subsidies in the form of vouchers, allowing export companies in the province to freely select and receive support for export support projects tailored to their export capabilities.
The eligible applicants are manufacturing SMEs with headquarters or factories located in the province, whose direct export amount last year was less than 20 million USD.
Gyeonggi Province will select 150 companies and provide each with a voucher worth 10 million KRW.
With the vouchers received, companies can use a total of 14 export-related services, from export preparation to follow-up management, including brand development management, interpretation and translation, overseas certification, international transportation, trade insurance and guarantees.
Companies wishing to participate can apply by submitting related documents such as the consent form for the support project through the Gyeonggi Business Secretary website (www.egbiz.or.kr) and the Export Support Infrastructure Utilization System (www.exportvocher.com).
Park Kyung-seo, Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "The Gyeonggi Opportunity Export Voucher Project is a customized support program that can be utilized by export companies in the province that urgently need support due to increased export barriers caused by the strengthening of protectionism following the inauguration of the second Trump administration." He added, "We will actively support SMEs in the province to receive the export support they need."
