Over 230,000 Land Parcels Subject to Assessment
Damyang County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it has completed the calculation and verification of the individual publicly announced land prices for 231,799 land parcels within the county as of January 1 this year, and will conduct a public viewing and collect opinions from landowners and others until April 9.
This land price assessment was conducted for all parcels within the county, and the assessed prices will be finalized and publicly announced on April 30 after the public viewing and opinion collection process.
The individual publicly announced land prices can be checked at the Civil Affairs Division of the county office, town and township offices, the Damyang County website, and the Real Estate Public Price Notification Service. If there are any opinions on the announced prices, opinion forms can be submitted by visiting the Civil Affairs Division or town/township offices, or by mail.
For land parcels with submitted opinions, a re-investigation will be conducted to check the price balance with standard land in the vicinity, followed by a detailed verification by an appraiser. After review by the Damyang County Real Estate Price Public Announcement Committee, individual notifications will be sent by April 28.
An official from the county stated, "Since the individual publicly announced land prices are used as basic administrative data for calculating national and local taxes and various charges, please make sure to check them during the public viewing period."
