Four Correctional Facilities to Operate as Test Centers for Incarcerated Examinees

The Chungnam Office of Education has announced that three schools?Cheonan Gaon Middle School, Cheonan Ssangyong Middle School, and Cheonan Seo Girls' Middle School?have been designated as test sites for the "2025 First Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduation Equivalency Exam," which is scheduled to take place on April 5.

In particular, the provincial Office of Education will operate separate test centers at four correctional facilities within the province to accommodate incarcerated examinees.

This year, a total of 1,402 applicants have registered for the exam: 63 for elementary school, 218 for middle school, and 1,121 for high school equivalency.

Each examinee can check their designated test site in the announcement posted on the Chungnam Office of Education website.

Examinees must bring their ID, exam admission ticket, and a computer-use sign pen, and must enter their assigned classroom by 8:40 a.m. on the day of the exam. From the second session onward, examinees must enter at least 10 minutes before the start of each session to take the test.

A representative from the Chungnam Office of Education stated, "The equivalency exam is an important opportunity for those wishing to continue their education, so we will do our utmost to ensure that all examinees can take the test without any issues."
