Healthy Culture Advocacy Group’ Training Campaign

The Gyeonggi Northern Gambling Problem Prevention and Treatment Center (Director Jeon Su-mi, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Northern Center) announced on the 21st that on the 19th, it conducted a ‘Gambling No! Healthy Culture Yes! Healthy Culture Advocacy Group’ training campaign at the 9th Infantry Division Hwangdokkaebi Battalion to create a healthy military culture free from gambling problems.

The ‘Vanguard of Gambling Prevention! Healthy Culture Advocacy Group’ campaign is a prevention project continuously operated by the Gyeonggi Northern Center since 2019 to spread a healthy military culture and establish a safety net for gambling problems.
This ‘Gambling No! Healthy Culture Yes! Healthy Culture Advocacy Group’ training campaign was successfully conducted with a special lecture on ‘Jeoljeolpo (Never Never Give up)’ by Seo Jeong-yeol, the head of the military advocacy group at the center (Retired Army Major General, President of the Jeoljeolpo Association), along with campaigns for gambling problem prevention.
Jeon Su-mi, director of the Gyeonggi Northern Gambling Problem Prevention and Treatment Center, expressed gratitude to the 9th Infantry Division Hwangdokkaebi Battalion, which has recognized the seriousness of gambling problems among soldiers that have surged due to the allowance of mobile phone use within the unit and has been striving for prevention, stating, “We will continue to do our best to serve as a catalyst for spreading a healthy military culture free from gambling problems.”
The Gyeonggi Northern Gambling Problem Prevention and Treatment Center is an institution that prevents gambling problems and provides counseling for treatment, operated by the Eulji University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.
