According to the county on the 21st, a recent video by an influencer traveling to Hongseong by train and tourist taxi has gone viral, leading to a significant increase in the number of travelers arriving in Hongseong by train.
The secret to the popularity of the Hongseong Shinbaram Tourist Taxi is that if you make a reservation three days before your trip, you can freely enjoy any area of Hongseong by tourist taxi.
In particular, even tourist destinations that are far to reach on foot, such as Namdanghang Marine Fountain Park, Hongseong Sky Tower, the birthplace of Manhae Han Yongun, and Jukdo, can be visited comfortably using the tourist taxi.
The fare is subsidized by the county by up to 55%, allowing visitors to use the 4-hour course for 40,000 won instead of 90,000 won, and the 6-hour course for 60,000 won instead of 130,000 won. Each vehicle can accommodate up to four passengers.
The tourist taxi is also well received because pets are allowed to accompany passengers.
