The designated donation project allows donors to contribute to specific projects of their choice. Through this initiative, the county plans to support the youth baseball team established last year and promote youth sports activities. The county aims to raise 40 million KRW in designated donations by the end of June, and the funds will be used for purchasing training equipment and covering tournament participation fees for the youth players.

The "Wando County BC Youth Baseball Team" currently covers its operating expenses of about 100 million KRW through parental contributions. Despite financial difficulties, the team achieved remarkable success by winning third place at the national youth baseball tournament held in Sunchang County, Jeollabuk-do on the 3rd, just one year after its founding.

Meanwhile, Wando County is also promoting other projects using the Hometown Love Donation Fund, such as the "Childcare Moms, Sea-cation Healing Month Program" to support the use of the Marine Healing Center for women raising preschool children, and the "Cheongsan-myeon Village Community Laundry Support" project for vulnerable groups in island villages.
