Criticizing Malicious Commenters as "Too Cruel"
Actress Kim Bu-seon expressed her sorrow for her two juniors, the late Kim Sae-ron who suddenly passed away, and Kim Soo-hyun, who has been criticized by the public over allegations of dating as a minor. On the 19th, a video titled "Celebrity Human Rights Not Guaranteed Even as Much as Serial Killers" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Kim Bu-seon TV.' In this video, Kim Bu-seon mentioned Kim Sae-ron, who passed away on the 16th of last month.

Kim Bu-seon said, "I didn't know the actress Kim Sae-ron. But when I looked at the comments on the YouTube video, more than 80% were malicious comments. It was like a festival atmosphere. I felt, 'This society is really sick, and people can be this cruel in the face of someone's death,'" expressing her sadness. She continued, "She died unhappily at a young age because of drunk driving. Is she the only one who drives drunk? And that actress has already paid a sufficient social price for drunk driving. She couldn't even work," she said. Then she added, "They dare not say a word to the wife of a powerful person but target the easy victims like Kim Sae-ron, Wheesung, and Kim Bu-seon," and criticized those who leave malicious comments by saying, "Now, because another witch hunt is needed, they target the young actor Kim Soo-hyun. Don't you all date? Don't you all lie?"
Kim Bu-seon pointed out, "Anyone can lie and make mistakes. There are reasons for that, and it doesn't directly harm you, so why do you leave such malicious comments?" Through the video comments, Kim Bu-seon added, "Our lives are just a brief visit; why are people so cruelly biting each other? Today, I deeply long for the scent of people who understand, love, forgive, and care for the weak a little more warmly. I apologize for using harsh language."
Earlier, on the 10th, Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family claimed through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute (Gase-yeon)' that the deceased had dated Kim Soo-hyun for six years since she was 15 years old. Initially, Kim Soo-hyun's agency Gold Medalist denied the relationship altogether, but after Gase-yeon revealed evidence photos received from the bereaved family, they changed their stance, stating, "They dated from the summer of 2019, when the deceased became an adult, until the fall of 2020."
After Gase-yeon continued to distribute private photos, Kim Soo-hyun's side issued an official statement on the 20th, saying, "On this day, Kim Soo-hyun's agency filed a complaint against Kim Se-ui, the operator of Gase-yeon who shared photos of actor Kim Soo-hyun with his pants down on his own YouTube channel live broadcast, as well as the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron who provided the photos to Gase-yeon, and an unidentified person claiming to be the late Kim Sae-ron's aunt, for violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes (distribution of photos taken by camera, etc.)."
