Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) will conduct a price review and accept opinions for 17,180 individual houses as of January 1, 2025, from March 21 to April 9.
The individual house price is the assessed value of a house including the building and attached land. It is calculated based on the standard house price selected by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, comprehensively considering price balance and changes with nearby houses. It is then finalized after verification by the Korea Real Estate Board.
Price reviews can be checked on the Pocheon City Hall website and the Real Estate Public Price Notification website. They can also be reviewed by phone or visit at the Taxation Division (Property Tax Team) of Pocheon City Hall and the administrative welfare centers (civil service offices) of towns and townships. House owners and other stakeholders who have opinions on the house price can submit an opinion form stating the appropriate price.
The results of submitted opinions will be notified to the submitters after re-investigation of house characteristics and price balance with nearby houses, verification by the Korea Real Estate Board, and deliberation by the Pocheon City Real Estate Price Public Notice Committee. The final price will be decided and announced on April 30.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “Individual house prices are important information used as basic data for calculating various taxes and charges such as national tax, local tax, and health insurance. We ask that you review the prices within the period and submit opinions if necessary.”
