Hampyeong County Strengthens Farmers' IT Skills for Securing Online Sales Channels On the 17th, the "1st Blog Study Group Closing Ceremony" operated by the Hampyeong County Branch of the Korea Informatization Farmers Association was successfully held. Provided by Hampyeong County, Jeonnam

Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do has launched efforts to strengthen the digital capabilities of local farmers to secure online sales channels.


According to Hampyeong County on the 21st, the “1st Blog Learning Club Completion Ceremony,” operated by the Hampyeong Chapter of the Korea Informatization Farmers Association, was successfully held on the 17th.


The 1st Blog Learning Club was held for 30 participants over approximately 100 days from December last year to the 17th, with a total of 22 sessions including 15 regular classes and 7 supplementary classes. The training was provided as a talent donation by Kim Hyungong, CEO of Haereum Agricultural Corporation Ltd. and a blog influencer.


Kim Hyungong offered systematic theoretical education ranging from the basics to advanced levels of blog operation, along with practical training where participants created content by filming farm experiences, tourist attractions, and local foods to post on blogs and social media, receiving enthusiastic responses from trainees.


At the completion ceremony, under the slogan “Our Blog, Our Story, Our Party,” awards were presented to outstanding participants who diligently completed the 100-day program and those who successfully published blog posts. In addition, a “Happiness, Laughter, Communication Recreation” session and a barbecue party were held, providing farmers with opportunities for communication and camaraderie.


Han Jaekyu, President of the Hampyeong Informatization Farmers Association, said, “I hope many people have gained confidence in operating blogs through this Blog Learning Club activity.”


Moon Jeongmo, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, “I hope this program has been of great help to local farmers,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to the development of local agriculture through various educational programs.”
