The ‘Mother Care Academy’ is a mothers’ group operated as part of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s public project ‘Early Life Health Management Project’ for customized health care for pregnant women and infants. It is designed to help first-time mothers build confidence through professional customized education and share parenting experiences to strengthen their parenting capabilities.

Established and operated as a pledge project of the 8th local government administration since 2023, the ‘Mother Care Academy’ has received high satisfaction from participating mothers, and from this year, the operation will be expanded from three sessions per year to four sessions per year.

Starting April 4, the program will be held at the 2nd floor Well-being Health Promotion Center of Guri City Health Center (Inchang-dong) every Friday for a total of five sessions, with the schedule as follows: △ April 4 (1st session) ‘Getting to Know Each Other and Becoming a Mother’ △ April 11 (2nd session) ‘Baby Massage’ △ April 18 (3rd session) ‘Safety Education’ △ April 25 (4th session) ‘Weaning Food and Nutrition Education’ △ May 2 (5th session) ‘Development and Play.’
