Daejeon City Launches "2025 KORAIL-Linked Tourism Program"
Free Buses and Passenger Cars Provided Based on Group Size
Daejeon City announced the official launch of the "2025 KORAIL-Linked Tourism Program," which provides transportation support for train travelers visiting Daejeon.
If visitors using the train verify their train receipts, a large bus will be provided for groups of 20-40 people, a medium-sized bus for groups of 10-19, and suitable vehicles such as vans or passenger cars for groups of fewer than 10.
The program consists of 11 themed courses that connect Daejeon's major tourist attractions and experiential sites, offering customized travel courses utilizing "Kkumssi Family."
To allow individual travelers to freely explore Daejeon, a "contactless tour program" will also be operated. After pre-registration, participants complete designated missions and receive Daejeon City souvenirs and Seongsimdang gift certificates as rewards.
The program will run from March to December and may end early if the budget is exhausted.
Applications for participation can be made through Naver Smart Store (Daejeon City KORAIL-Linked Tourism).
Jun Ilhong, Director of Culture, Arts, and Tourism at Daejeon City, said, "Through the KORAIL-Linked Tourism Program, we plan to widely promote Daejeon's tourism appeal and provide a more convenient travel environment for inbound tourists using the railway."
