Completion of Organization This Month, Quarterly Meetings to Be Held
'Head Office-Site-Partner' Integrated Quality Management
Lotte Construction has officially launched a quality management system encompassing nationwide sites to further enhance construction quality. A consultative body involving quality managers from Lotte Construction's Technology Research Institute has been formed, and company-wide training has been expanded.
From the 11th to the 13th, Lotte Construction held the first quarter meeting of the 'All-Site Quality Managers Consultative Body' for three days, conducting inspections and discussions aimed at improving construction quality, the company announced on the 21st.
Held in six regions nationwide (Northern, Central, and Southern Metropolitan Areas, Daejeon Area, Iksan Area, and Busan Area), the meeting involved sharing quality management cases from each site and jointly reviewing partner company quality evaluation procedures. Researchers and quality team leaders also toured the sites directly to find ways to reduce quality risks.
Lotte Construction plans to hold the consultative body meetings quarterly going forward. They will also establish a data accumulation and company-wide sharing system to reduce recurring risks. The 'autonomous reporting system,' which has been operated mainly by quality managers until now, will be expanded and utilized company-wide in the future.

Employee training at sites will also be strengthened. Lotte Construction will operate the '2025 Lotte Construction Technology Academy' to provide quality innovation mindset training for technical and quality/environment staff. This training will be conducted 42 times in total from this month through July, and the Quality Innovation Academy will run from April to September. This year, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training will be introduced for the first time to actively cultivate smart construction experts.
In addition to technical training, the digital-based quality management system is also being expanded. Lotte Construction developed an in-house chatbot based on the group AI platform 'Aimember' to enable quick access to quality standards and regulations. Going forward, this chatbot will be used to provide preliminary risk information to partner company employees as well. The goal is to identify quality-deteriorating factors that may arise during construction and reduce related problems.
