Toss Securities' 'Stock Accumulation' service has reached its 3rd anniversary since launch, with approximately 1.83 million investors using the service.
Stock Accumulation is a service that allows customers to invest in domestic and overseas stocks on a regular savings basis by setting a fixed schedule and quantity. The investment frequency can be set according to the customer's investment plan, such as daily, weekly, or monthly. Domestic stocks can be invested in units of one share, while overseas stocks can be invested from a minimum of 1,000 KRW in fractional units.
According to data analysis of Stock Accumulation users by Toss Securities, each customer uses an average of more than three Stock Accumulation plans. By investment frequency, 53% of users invest steadily every day, followed by 30% who invest weekly, and 17% who invest monthly.
The most invested overseas stock through Stock Accumulation was Tesla. Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Alphabet A also ranked high, indicating a strong preference for technology stocks. Domestic stocks included Samsung Electronics, RISE US Nasdaq 100, RISE US S&P 500, TIGER US S&P 500, and Kakao, showing interest in the US market as well.
In August last year, Toss Securities made the purchase commission for the Stock Accumulation service free of charge. This applies to all Toss Securities customers and is applicable when purchasing at least one domestic stock share or overseas stocks worth 1,000 KRW or more through Stock Accumulation.
A Toss Securities representative said, "Stock Accumulation is a service used by one in two Toss Securities customers and has established itself as an investment method that encompasses a wide range of users, from beginner investors to experienced ones."
