The Gwangju Jeolla Jeju Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Director Lee Younghee) announced on the 21st that it held a ceremony to deliver 'medical expense support funds for children in facilities' at the Gwangju Infant Temporary Shelter in Sotae-dong on the 20th.

This project is part of the corporation's representative social contribution program, 'Haneul Bandage,' and provides medical expense support to children with congenital diseases or disabilities residing in facilities so that they can receive timely treatment. Following the Gwangju Infant Temporary Shelter, the project will also be carried out at other facilities such as Jeonju Hoseong Orphanage, where there are children in need of treatment.

Along with the ceremony, the monthly care volunteer service was also conducted, with employee volunteers participating in physical and emotional development programs for infants and accompanying them to hospital visits.

Director Lee Younghee stated, "I hope that children in need of treatment can recover in a timely manner without missing the right moment," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that children, the guardians of our future, can grow up healthy both physically and emotionally."
