The international relief and development organization Korea World Vision announced on the 21st that it will hold the "2025 Dream Postcard Drawing Contest" under the theme "A Sufficient Bowl for Everyone" until June 13.
Now in its 7th year, this contest is an international event that delivers postcards with drawings containing messages of dreams and hope to children around the world facing difficult situations such as poverty, war, and the climate crisis. It is conducted as part of a global food crisis response campaign to ensure that all children can eat nutritious food and grow up healthy.
World Vision has been running this campaign in over 100 countries since last year until 2026. Any elementary school student nationwide can participate in the contest. After applying through the official website, participants watch a global citizenship education video and then draw a picture with a message of dreams and hope on the dream postcard received by mail and submit it. The winning works will be announced on September 12 on the World Vision official website. Creator Choi Yerin (Yel Unni), who has 4.39 million YouTube subscribers, has been appointed as the contest ambassador.
