The dawn delivery specialist company 'Oasis Market' recorded its highest-ever performance last year. The company explained that the main factors were streamlining the business structure and improving profitability despite the continued downturn in the distribution industry.

According to Oasis Market on the 21st, the company's operating profit last year was 22.9 billion KRW, a 72% increase compared to the same period the previous year. During the same period, sales amounted to 517.1 billion KRW, up 9% from the previous year. Net profit also grew 66% year-on-year, reaching 22.8 billion KRW. Sales, operating profit, and net profit all achieved record highs on an annual basis.

The company explained that these results were due to streamlining the business structure and enhancing profitability despite the ongoing downturn in the distribution industry last year. Online sales growth rate recorded a significant increase of 15% last year.

Oasis Market plans to introduce AI retail unmanned checkout machines using artificial intelligence (AI) technology in offline stores in the first half of this year.

They are also preparing to secure new logistics centers within the year to expand the online delivery area nationwide.

Meanwhile, Oasis Market is pursuing the acquisition of the domestic e-commerce company 'Timon,' which is undergoing corporate rehabilitation procedures (court receivership), to expand its online commerce business.
