Ulsan City Launches Campaign to Ban Single-Use Items in City Hall

Promoting the Use of Reusable Containers
and Expanding the Culture on the 21st

Ulsan City will hold a "No Single-Use Cups Allowed in the City Hall" campaign at the entrance of the city hall on the 21st from 11:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This campaign is organized to encourage all employees to reduce the use of single-use items such as disposable cups, prevent single-use cups from being brought into the city hall, and promote the use of the reusable "Ulsan Cup."

A city official stated, "We hope that Ulsan City officials will take the lead in reducing the use of single-use products and help spread the culture of using reusable containers," adding, "We will continue to promote this effort so that all citizens can participate in reducing the use of single-use products."

Ulsan City has been making continuous efforts to reduce the use of single-use products by encouraging the use of personal cups in offices, banning the use of disposable cups and PET bottled water during meetings and events, and providing reusable containers at festival venues.
