This agreement was established to prevent jeonse fraud targeting young households who are vulnerable to real estate information and have little contract experience, and to support stable housing settlement.

Following the agreement, from the 31st, a customized consultation office will operate twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) from 2 PM to 6 PM at the "Uijeongbu Youth Center Youth Empathy Space." Consultations will be handled by Housing Safety Managers assigned to each neighborhood who are knowledgeable about local real estate information and possess expertise.

The Housing Safety Managers will provide services including ▲contract consultation ▲housing search ▲review of real estate documents (such as the Certificate of All Registered Matters, mortgage amounts, etc.), as well as ▲accompanying clients during house viewings for safety and ▲assistance during contract drafting.

The consultation service is available free of charge to youths aged 19 to 39 who reside or plan to reside in Uijeongbu City, and can be reserved through the Youth Center website.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "As jeonse fraud has emerged as a serious social issue, through this agreement, we will support the youth to safely enter into real estate contracts," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure housing stability for young people."
