Gyeongsan City in North Gyeongsang Province will investigate and determine the officially announced prices of individual houses as of January 1, 2025, and will conduct a price review and collect opinions from March 21 to April 9.
The housing price review can be done through the Real Estate Price Information System, and can also be checked at the Tax Department of City Hall or at the administrative welfare centers in towns and districts. Homeowners or interested parties who have opinions regarding the prices may fill out and submit an opinion form during the review period.
For houses with submitted opinions, a reinvestigation will be conducted to review the appropriateness of the price assessment. After re-verification by the Korea Real Estate Board and deliberation by the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee, the final decision and announcement will be made on April 30.
The officially announced prices for multi-unit housing (such as apartments and villas) as of January 1, 2025, overseen by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, can also be reviewed and opinions submitted from March 14 to April 2. The prices for multi-unit housing can be checked through the Real Estate Price Information System, and further inquiries can be made to the Daegu branch of the Korea Real Estate Board.
Kim Chungnyeol, head of the Tax Department, said, "The officially announced prices are important data used as the basis for property tax, comprehensive real estate tax, and health insurance premiums, so please make sure to check them during the review period."
