Daehan Science, Korea's first and largest comprehensive distribution, manufacturing, and total service company for experimental and medical devices, announced its participation in the "40th 2025 International Medical Devices & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2025)" held at COEX, Seoul, from the 20th to the 23rd.
Since 2022, Daehan Science has been participating in KIMES annually. Last year, through this exhibition, the company signed a dealership contract with an Indonesian medical company, establishing a domestic and international dealership system and emerging as a strong player in the medical device market.
The Indonesian dealership will participate in the Indonesia Hospital Expo held in Jakarta this October to market Daehan Science's medical devices. At this exhibition, Daehan Science is also showcasing key medical devices certified with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice for medical devices). During the COVID-19 pandemic, Daehan Science played a crucial role in protecting public health by being the first in Korea to obtain the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's medical certification for 'ultra-low temperature freezers for vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and blood,' rapidly distributing freezers and refrigerators for COVID-19 vaccines. These freezers and refrigerators use the eco-friendly refrigerant ‘DH-MGR’ developed in-house and apply the IoT-enabled ‘Smart-Lab System,’ introducing advanced technology to medical sites and rapidly expanding their presence in the global medical device market. Recently, they secured an order for six ultra-low temperature freezers to be supplied to an Egyptian military hospital through a bidding process, continuing to receive various overseas orders.
Essential sterilizers for medical sites, including dry heat sterilizers, high-pressure steam sterilizers, and low-temperature plasma sterilizers, are all exhibited, supplied in various capacities to be affordable even for small clinics and hospitals. Centrifuges on display include clinical, general-purpose, high-speed refrigerated centrifuges, and models supporting micro red blood cell volume, offering a wide range of products compatible with micro and macro tubes, earning high trust in medical and research fields.
Equipment for laboratory safety, such as Biological Safety Cabinets that protect both experimenters and samples from contamination during infectious pathogen and virus experiments, Fume Hoods and Filtering Reagent Cabinets that safely filter harmful gases generated from reagents, and Safety Cabinets for storing corrosive or flammable reagents, also occupy a section of the exhibition hall, attracting visitors' attention.
Additionally, Daehan Medical's own brand mediclinTM medical consumables and Stainless Steel Instruments are exhibited, with sample containers and slide glasses, essential for medical sites and research laboratories, receiving particular attention. mediclinTM sample containers are PP products manufactured domestically, boasting excellent quality in both sterile and non-sterile types, while mediclinTM slide glasses and cover glasses have earned CE certification for outstanding performance and reliability.
