Gwangju Dong-gu (District Mayor Lim Taek) announced on the 20th that a one-night, two-day accommodation package for the "2025 Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour," which will be held from the 25th to the 26th of next month, will be offered through Gwangju Art Pass.
Gwangju Art Pass is a daily art travel platform that combines Gwangju's cultural, artistic, and tourism resources with smart technology, allowing anyone to easily and conveniently enjoy them. It provides tourism information search, smart mobility services such as KTX reservations, and discounts at affiliated establishments including accommodations, dining, experiences, and museums.
The "Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour" is a night-time cultural festival featuring eight themed experiences that utilize national heritage and the region's unique historical and cultural resources. To attract tourists, Gwangju Art Pass has planned and introduced a paid one-night, two-day package for the first time this year.
Among the eight themes, the "Night Tour Accommodation Package" offers an overnight stay experience and is a paid product linked to the Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour. It was created to promote stay-type national heritage-themed tourism and to strengthen the region's sustainability through the night tour.
In line with the trend of increasing individual and small group travelers rather than large groups, the package includes accommodation, meals (breakfast and dinner), a Gwangju Theater movie ticket (or a goods exchange voucher), and information on tourist attractions, allowing travelers to freely explore the night tour and Gwangju without a guide.
The Night Tour Accommodation Package will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to a total of 50 people through the "Gwangju Art Pass" website or app, at a special price of 100,000 won for one person and 140,000 won for two people.
For more details, please refer to the Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour website or contact the Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour office.
Lim Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, "During the Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour, we have prepared an opportunity for visitors to stay in Dong-gu, enjoy the national heritage, and explore various tourist attractions. Through this night tour, we will widely promote Dong-gu's national heritage and tourism resources and work even harder to attract more tourists."
