Daezer Ferry newly launched the world's fastest high-speed passenger ship, the Eldorado Express (gross tonnage 3,158 tons, passenger capacity 970, maximum speed 51 knots), on the Pohang~Ulleungdo route in July last year.
Kim Jongtae, CEO of PanStar Line.com, said, "With both companies possessing newly built, state-of-the-art vessels and strong competitiveness, mutual cooperation can attract foreign tourists visiting or transiting through Korea for the Osaka Expo, and is expected to create a synergistic effect in promoting travel to Ulleungdo."
