Delivered to Local Children's Centers and Welfare Facilities
S-OIL donated 230 million KRW to support local residents.
On the 20th, S-OIL delivered a donation from the 'Gas Station Sharing N Campaign' to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare at the S-OIL Yeomni-dong Gas Station located in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The Gas Station Sharing N Campaign is a community-based social contribution program that uses S-OIL gas stations to extend warmth to nearby welfare facilities and neighbors in need. Over 200 S-OIL gas stations nationwide participate in this campaign.
Through the Gas Station Sharing N Campaign, S-OIL donates funds to local children's centers and welfare facilities for the disabled and elderly. An S-OIL representative stated, "We will continue to provide sincere support to places in need," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our role as a company that supports the local community."
Since 2011, S-OIL has operated the campaign in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare. Over the past 14 years, it has matched 4,030 gas stations with welfare facilities and donated a total of 5.1 billion KRW.
