Busan Federation of Teachers Proposes Strengthening Teacher Authority and Establishing Free Kindergarten Education
Jung Seungyun: "I Will Become a Superintendent Trusted for Upholding Principles and Convictions"
Candidate Jung Seungyun for Busan Superintendent of Education held a policy meeting with the Busan Federation of Teachers' Associations (President Kang Jaecheol) on the 19th.
Seungyun Jung, candidate for Busan Superintendent of Education, is having a meeting with the Busan Teachers' Association Federation and taking a commemorative photo.
At the meeting held at the Busan Federation of Teachers, Jung Seungyun emphasized, "This election is a crucial one to establish the history and the values of a free Republic of Korea amid social turmoil," and added, "I will protect the free Republic of Korea through the power of education."
The federation proposed policies such as ▲reconsidering the qualifications and recruitment methods for the principal recruitment system ▲establishing free kindergarten education ▲protecting teachers' health (both physical and mental) and guaranteeing healthy learning rights ▲ensuring teachers' right to teach by strengthening teacher authority.
In response, Jung Seungyun promised to improve unreasonable and unclear recruitment systems, form a task force to implement free kindergarten education, and create an educational environment that guarantees teachers' learning rights.
Jung Seungyun stated, "Regarding my pledges, I will communicate with students, teachers, and other school members to create a better educational environment," and added, "I will become a superintendent trusted for upholding principles and convictions."
