The dog purchased last month by Satis, a famous Indian breeder and influencer, is a crossbreed between a Caucasian Shepherd and a wolf, commonly called a 'Wolfdog.' The Caucasian Shepherd is a large breed born in Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and other regions, known for its excellent ability to protect and guard other livestock. The Wolfdog that Satis bought for millions of dollars is named 'Kadabam Okami.' Currently 8 months old, it weighs 75 kg and stands about 77 cm tall. Crossbreeds between wolves and dogs are known to be extremely rare. Satis told The Sun in the UK, "I love dogs very much and enjoy introducing unique dogs to India, so I spent a lot of money to buy this puppy."
After arriving in India with Satis, Okami gained tremendous popularity. A video of Okami walking the red carpet at a movie premiere recorded 3 million views. Besides Okami, Satis raises about 150 rare breed dogs. His dogs live on a large farm measuring 28,330 square meters (about 8,570 pyeong), and each dog has its own spacious area measuring 6 meters by 6 meters.
Satis built a 3-meter-high outer wall around the farm and hired security personnel to monitor the area 24 hours a day with closed-circuit (CC) TV to prevent dogs with high market value from being stolen. Instagram: satishcadaboms
To prevent the theft of these high-value dogs, Satis built a 3-meter-high outer wall around the farm and hired security personnel who monitor the area 24/7 with closed-circuit (CC) TV cameras. Another dog Satis owns is the Chow Chow, a native Chinese breed, which he purchased last year for $3.25 million (about 4.735 billion won). Currently, Satis attends various events with special dogs like Okami and reportedly receives high appearance fees ranging from 4 million to 17 million won. He said, "People approach my special dogs to take commemorative photos. My dogs and I receive the most attention at events," adding, "I spent money to have rare dogs, and people spend money to see my dogs."
