Lee Visits Samsung Youth SW Academy
Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, met with Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Electronics, on the 20th and said, "I ask you to play a key role in driving economic growth."
On the same day, Lee said at the 'Samsung Youth SW Academy (SSAFY)' located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, "When companies do well, the country prospers, and when Samsung does well, those who have invested in Samsung also live well."
He added, "As global competition intensifies, it has become really important for large corporations to enhance their international competitiveness. I hope that many people will share the fruits and open a new world as excellent ecosystems are newly created in the process of overcoming the current difficulties."

Lee expressed gratitude to Chairman Lee for his efforts to expand youth employment. He said, "The most important thing the government must do is to create hope for the people, but these days, it seems difficult for young people to find opportunities. I am deeply thankful once again that Samsung is pouring its capabilities into opening new paths to find opportunities."
In response, Chairman Lee said, "For the future of Korea, and especially for the future of our youth who are the true future of Korea, I have led Samsung with the belief that we are investing in our future beyond mere social contribution."
