Yeongju City Recruiting Companies for SME Workplace Improvement Project

Contributing to the Prevention of Corporate Accidents
Through Improvements in Working Environment and Safety

Yeongju City, in collaboration with the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency, is recruiting companies to participate in the "SME Workplace Environment Improvement Project" to create a safer working environment for local small and medium-sized enterprises. The application period runs until April 4.


The purpose of this project is to improve companies' working environments and safety facilities to prevent industrial accidents and strengthen management stability in preparation for the expanded enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.


Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises located in Yeongju City. The areas of support include: △ repair and maintenance of aging electrical facilities, △ repair and maintenance of firefighting equipment, △ installation of exhaust, ventilation, and dust collection systems for the removal of dust and hazardous substances, △ internal and external construction for workplace safety improvements, and △ internal and external construction for overall improvement of the working environment. There are a total of five support categories.


A total of 13 companies will be selected through this recruitment, and each selected company can receive up to 20 million KRW in support.


Companies wishing to participate can apply through the Northern Branch of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency. For more details, please refer to the "Notices" section on the Yeongju City website.
