Ulsan City will hold the "2025 Ulsan Metropolitan City Integrated Defense Council" at 3:00 p.m. on March 20 in the Integrated Defense Situation Room, located on the second basement floor of City Hall Annex 2.

Approximately 250 people will attend the meeting, including Mayor Kim Doo-kyum, who is the chair of the Ulsan Integrated Defense Council, Kang Gwan-beom, Commander of the 53rd Army Division, Jeong Sang-jin, Chief of Ulsan Police Agency, along with council members, military, police, and fire department commanders, emergency planning officers from district offices and major local institutions and companies.

This meeting has been organized to review and prepare Ulsan's integrated defense posture amid unstable domestic and international security situations, such as North Korea's missile threats and the release of waste balloons toward the South, as well as the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

The main agenda includes a report on last year's integrated defense achievements, this year's direction and key tasks, and in-depth discussions by each organization regarding the threat posed by North Korean drones.

Mayor Kim Doo-kyum stated, "It is more important than ever to protect the lives and safety of citizens not only from domestic and international security threats but also in disaster situations," and urged, "Everyone should make thorough efforts in advance to establish a robust integrated defense posture with the spirit of preparedness and vigilance."
