Six Gold, Four Silver, and Three Bronze Medals Won at Gimcheon and Jeju Competitions
Dominating Both Team and Individual Events... "Proving Teamwork and Skills"
The Gwangju Physical Education Middle School finswimming team claimed the overall championship in the middle school division at the 33rd National Student Finswimming Championships.

According to the Gwangju Office of Education on the 19th, the Gwangju Physical Education Middle School finswimming team won 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals at the competition held from the 15th to the 17th at the indoor swimming pool of the Jeju Sports Complex.
Choi Sungyeon (3rd grade), Kang Yunho (2nd grade), Kim Yeoul (1st grade), and Oh Suhyeon (1st grade) each won gold medals in the 400m mixed relay and 400m mixed pair fins relay. Kang Yunho also took first place in the boys' middle school 200m surface event, adding another individual gold medal.
Yoon Hyojeong (3rd grade) became a double champion by finishing first in the 400m and 800m surface monofin events with times of 3:43.08 and 7:55.47, respectively, and also received the Outstanding Athlete Award. In addition, Kang Yunho and Oh Suhyeon won silver medals in the 100m surface event, while Kim Yeoul took silver in the 50m apnea event. Kim Yeoul (50m surface), Choi Sungyeon (100m surface), and Oh Suhyeon (200m surface) each added a bronze medal.
Principal Lee Junjae said, "By achieving excellent results in both team and individual events, the students have proven their teamwork and skills," and added, "We will continue to actively support the students' dreams in the future."

Meanwhile, Jeon Minjun (3rd grade) of the Gwangju Physical Education Middle School swimming team won a silver medal in the 50m freestyle at the 15th Gimcheon National Swimming Championships held during the same period.
