Busan New Port (PNC) delivered a donation to the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center on the 19th at its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Busan, to support vulnerable groups in the district.

Along with this donation, Busan New Port continues to engage in ongoing social contribution activities by its executives and employees.
The executives and employees accumulate a certain amount from their monthly salaries and make an additional donation to the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center at the end of each year. The donated funds are used to help reduce the living expenses of marginalized residents such as basic livelihood security recipients and the near-poor who are struggling due to rising prices, and to strengthen support for vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots.
Kwon Kihyun, CEO of Busan New Port, said, "I hope this donation will be of some help to the vulnerable in our local community," adding, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities to become a company that grows together with the community."
In addition to donations, Busan New Port also regularly conducts volunteer activities in which executives and employees participate directly, in cooperation with the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center during holidays and at the end of every year.
Since 2010, Busan New Port has maintained a relationship with the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and has carried out a variety of social contribution activities every holiday, such as delivering holiday gifts, improving the living environment for vulnerable groups, and providing support for the elderly.
