NH Investment & Securities Delivers 54 Refrigerators to Hampyeong-gun, Jeonnam

NH Investment & Securities announced on the 19th that it donated 54 refrigerators to village communities in Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do.

NH Investment & Securities held a refrigerator delivery ceremony at the Hampyeong County Office on the same day, attended by Kim Seok-chan, Vice President of NH Investment & Securities, and Lee Sang-ik, Mayor of Hampyeong County, among others.

Since 2019, NH Investment & Securities has been conducting support projects for rural village communities (village halls, senior centers) nationwide. For three years from 2019, they replaced outdated cooking facilities in rural village communities (senior centers, village halls) with electric ranges (induction cookers), supporting a total of 1,263 induction cookers. Since 2022, they have been providing about 350 refrigerators annually. This year, they plan to deliver approximately 350 refrigerators to a total of eight counties.

Kim Seok-chan, Vice President of NH Investment & Securities, stated, "The rural village community support project, now in its seventh year, is one of NH Investment & Securities' representative social contribution activities, and we hope it will be a small help to the residents of rural villages. NH Investment & Securities will continue to carry out ongoing rural support projects."

As part of the NongHyup Group, NH Investment & Securities actively practices social responsibility activities including helping with rural labor and supporting farming households, and plans to continue the village community support project. Beyond simple labor assistance, they intend to continuously engage in social responsibility activities such as supporting long-standing village projects in the future.
