New 'Awakening System' Added
Enhance the Fun of Developing Special Cards Using Duplicate Player Cards
Com2uS announced on the 19th that it has conducted a major update to ‘Com2uS Pro Baseball V25’ (hereafter Com2uS Pro Baseball V25) in celebration of the 2025 season of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League.
The top domestic mobile baseball game series, ‘Com2uS Pro Baseball V25,’ is highly popular among users for its KBO official license-based, top-tier graphic quality and thrilling game production. With the new season, Com2uS added ‘LIVE V1’ player cards whose abilities change based on 2025 performance, and launched various system updates to capture fans’ hearts.
First, the update introduced a new ‘Awakening System’ that enhances the fun of player development by utilizing duplicate player cards. In the ‘Awakening System,’ players can raise the awakening level by using the same type and player cards among Golden Glove, Signature, Impact, and National Team cards that are level 10 or higher.
When awakening, player stats increase, and if the cards have high similarity such as the same year or Impact theme, the awakening level rises more. Awakening can reach up to level 9, and at certain milestones like levels 3, 6, and 9, various additional effects beyond stats are granted.
The update also introduced the ‘Manager’s Office Content,’ which allows setting new tactics for relief pitcher management. This content becomes available after clearing League Major 1 difficulty, and unlike the fixed placement of two closers and three setup men, the club owner can freely assign personnel. While maintaining the existing relief pitcher substitution tactics, two new tactics, ‘Specialization’ and ‘Aggressive Substitution,’ were added to the closers.
‘Specialization’ sets relief pitchers to handle the 7th and 8th innings in winning games more clearly, and ‘Aggressive Substitution’ is similar to the basic pitcher substitution method but instructs pitcher changes at a slightly earlier timing.
Additionally, ‘Com2uS Pro Baseball V25’ is the first baseball game to implement the ABS (Automatic Ball-Strike) system rule and strike zones based on batter height, which were applied starting from the 2025 KBO League season. In the game, just like in real matches, balls and strikes are judged using two surfaces at the middle and edge of the home plate.
